Sponsorship and Donations

We are proud to say that at least 9 of the children or young people at Hand in Hand Ghana have sponsors from the UK and Ireland at the moment. Thank you very much to these very generous people!

More sponsors are always needed. To support one child for one year costs the community £900. This breaks down to £75 per month. Many people chose to ‘group sponsor’ and share the cost with two others, so donating £25 per month each.

Sponsors are welcome to request copies of the Annual Report as well as information about the child or young person they have sponsored. They are also very welcome to visit Hand in Hand Ghana to see the project that they are playing such a large part in supporting.

Donations are always welcome no matter how big or small – a new water system, a new sewing machine, a new residential cottage for an independent young person – everything is possible!!

‘Many people choose to ‘group sponsor’ so sharing the cost. Individuals are welcome to donate towards the living costs of a child or young person at Hand in Hand. We usually ask for £25 per month. This covers everything from 24 hour care to school fees. Here at Hand in Hand (UK Support) we deal with all the UK sponsorship. It is easy to do and makes such a big difference.
